"..... ISO requirement for Library ....."

"It is the requirement of ISO standard that we have our own library, we will keep all reference books there for ease of engineers to do their reference .......... we will ask all engineers whether they have good reference book(s) and we will rent it from them and make a photocopy and keep it in the library.......... we will lock the cupboard."

Do you believe that these words came out from the mouth of a Director of the company ? And he is in charge of the ISO procedure in the company! First of all, he dare to request engineers to buy books on their own and rent it to the company to make a photocopy. Is he aware that photocopy of a book is illegal? Last and not lease, if all books are illegally photocopied one, why should he lock the cupboard that store them ?
